The Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) helps bring your ideas to patients and their families around the world. OTT assists CHOP researchers, clinicians, and staff in the transfer of technology from the bench to the bedside. The team’s goal is to identify novel discoveries and protect them in ways that deliver the greatest and most impactful value to the healthcare system. With extensive experience in technology transfer, intellectual property, and research, the OTT team is the resource for researchers, clinicians, and staff in the areas of patent prosecution, marketing, competitive intelligence, and licensing. The office manages a wide variety of intellectual properties (IP) arising from CHOP and works to advance these by:

• Building relationships with researchers through IP protection and commercialization
• Working collaboratively with industry through IP licensing or other partnerships
• Supporting new ventures in collaboration.
