Dr. Jolly-Tornetta's role involves protecting and commercializing innovations developed out of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia by evaluating the commercial viability of CHOP technology, developing strategies for the protection of related intellectual property, and overseeing the drafting, negotiation, and execution of commercialization transactions.
Bio
Dr. Jolly-Tornetta is an accomplished life science professional with more than 20 years of intellectual property law, licensing, and research experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic organizations. She educates and works closely with CHOP faculty and staff to deliver breakthroughs for childhood diseases and advance patient care. Dr. Jolly-Tornetta has expertise in the strategic development and management of intellectual assets, in drafting and negotiating intellectual property agreements, and in management of diverse projects, including research, commercial, and operational. Her experience has led to the issuance of hundreds of patents, numerous licensing deals, and the commercialization of various products that impact healthcare and patient lives. Dr. Jolly-Tornetta has been admitted to practice in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
