Office of Faculty Development

The Office of Faculty Development (OFD) is committed to supporting the career goals of junior, mid-level, and senior investigators at the Research Institute by creating a faculty environment that facilitates breakthroughs in research and innovation. Working across the six clinical departments at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the OFD welcomes new faculty to the Research Institute, offers tools to career success, and keeps researchers up to date through the OFD website and e-mail communications. Our website is a centralized resource repository that features a Funding Forecaster, samples of successful CHOP-authored grants, professional development opportunities, and more. Amy Salovin leads the Office of Faculty Development with input from the OFD Advisory Group, comprised of junior faculty, and with guidance and oversight from Beverly Davidson, PhD, Chief Scientific Strategy Officer.
