Once the study is reviewed by the IRB, you will receive an e-mail from the IRB with one of the following notices: approval, deferral, approvable with contingencies or non-approvable as written.

In most cases feedback is approvable with contingencies. In this case, you must address the contingencies within 90 days of receipt and resubmit to the IRB. If you require additional time to respond, use the "Add 90-Day Extension " feature in your eIRB application to prevent your study from expiring.
