Follow Up on Status of Contract and Budget Approval

It is important to stay in close communication with the CHOP personnel negotiating your contract and budget to ensure that there are no problems and that the negotiations occur as quickly as possible. In cases where contract and/or budget negotiations are delayed, it is helpful to have a meeting with the OCCRC, Pre-Award Research Administration and/or Clinical Trials Financial Management to discuss what issues/language are causing the delay. In some cases, input from your PI can help move negotiations forward.
