BEAMS Facility

The BEAMS (Behavioral Evaluation of Advanced Model Systems) Facility supports work using classic and cutting-edge preclinical experimental model systems. Particular attention is paid to performing BEAMS experiments with rigor and reproducibility in mind with the ultimate goal of bridging the knowledge gap between preclinical research and clinical impact.

Imaging Hub

The Imaging Hub includes equipment and software for advanced microscopy and analysis, including epifluorescence and confocal microscopy, two-photon laser scanning microscopic imaging, widefield/mesoscopic imaging, and light-sheet imaging.

Stem Cell Hub

The Stem Cell Hub includes equipment for culture, differentiation, microscopy, and electrophysiological recording of neurons in two-dimensional cultures and three-dimensional organoids generated from human induced pluripotent stem cells.
