Pai Laboratory Team
The Pai Lab conducts pediatric research, operating jointly at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania in the United States and McMaster University and McMaster Children’s Hospital in Canada. Research in the lab integrates clinical, basic science, and multi-omics approaches to study gastrointestinal, metabolic, and nutritional disorders in children. The lab team fosters a collaborative environment for trainees and welcomes partnerships that pursue innovative, translational research using the microbiome, nutrition, and host biology to address complex challenges in child health.
