Next Steps Into Adolescence - Oct 26, 2023

This workshop is geared toward parents, caregivers and professionals supporting individuals with autism ages 9 to 15 years. As children approach and enter the teenage years, they must deal with physical growth spurts, mindboggling hormone releases, and ever-changing and challenging social relationships. For pre-adolescent children with autism, these already complicated physical and social changes may be compounded by the difficulties of reading social cues and understanding the behaviors of others.

Cost: $15 - This does not include parking, which is available in the visitor's lot at a reduced rate.

Please note this workshop is being planned as an in-person event and masks will be recommended. The event could be transitioned to a virtual workshop, to be held during the same time and date. Participants will be given ample notice.

Requests for language interpreter or other accommodation services must be received one month in advance of the workshop.
