Abstract submission for the 31st annual CHOP Research Poster Day is now open!

All members of the CHOP community who are conducting research are welcome to participate. Submissions on all scientific topics are welcome, including those outside of this year’s neuroscience theme.

Abstracts are due Saturday, April 6, at 11:59 p.m.

Researchers may submit only one abstract. A maximum of 114 abstracts will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Only presenters who have completed the abstract submission form by the deadline will be accommodated. All submitted abstracts will be judged; there is no display-only option. A reception and poster award ceremony will be held May 1 in the Hub for Clinical Collaboration lobby.

Science Slam Flash Talks

Researchers who submit an abstract early by Friday, March 29, at 5 p.m. will be considered for Science Slam flash talk presentations, with the opportunity to be awarded a monetary prize. The Scientific Symposium planning committee will choose Science Slam flash talks on a competitive basis. The selected participants will present their abstracts as flash talks during the Scientific Symposium, Wednesday, May 1.

Save the Dates

The 2024 CHOP Research Poster Day and Scientific Symposium will take place Tuesday, April 30, and Wednesday, May 1. Poster presentations will be divided into two sessions and will be held in the Colket Translational Research Building lobby.

  • Poster Session A: April 30 from 2:30 - 4 p.m.
  • Poster Session B: May 1 from 10 - 11:30 a.m.

The 2024 Scientific Symposium theme, “Neuroscience 2024: Mechanisms and Emerging Therapies for Brain Disorders of Childhood,” will focus on the advancements that CHOP researchers have made in this exciting arena. Symposium sessions will be held in the first-floor auditorium in the Hub.
