Abstracts for the 2024 CHOP Research Poster Day and Scientific Symposium are now available to be searched and reviewed online available to be searched and reviewed online.

Poster Day and Symposium celebrate the groundbreaking research throughout CHOP. These events include scientific posters and presentations from more than 100 researchers-in-training who will share their exciting discoveries with the CHOP community.

2024 Poster Day and Symposium

The 2024 Poster Day and Symposium will take place on Tuesday, April 30  and Wednesday, May 1. Symposium talks will take place in the first floor auditorium in the Hub for Clinical Collaboration. Posters will be set up alphabetically by presenting author in the Colket Translational Research Building (CTRB) lobby. A reception and awards ceremony will be held on May 1 in the Hub Lobby.

The theme of the 2024 symposium talks is “Neuroscience 2024: Mechanisms and Emerging Therapies for Brain Disorders of Childhood,” and will focus on the advancements that CHOP researchers have made in this exciting arena. Joseph Gleeson, MD, Rady Professor, University of California San Diego and director of Neuroscience Research at the Rady Children's Institute for Genomic Medicine, will provide the keynote address. In addition, Hongkui Zeng, PhD, executive vice president and director of the Allen Institute for Brain Science, will be delivering a presentation, hosted by the Omics Initiative and Damien Fair, PhD, Professor in the Institute of Child Development and Redleaf Endowed Director for the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain at the University of Minnesota will be delivering the Department of Pediatrics Grand Rounds.
