Join us for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research at CHOP: Symposium and Retreat Dec. 6 and 7 to hear from CHOP Research Institute scientists about how CHOP is using AI in research, while addressing the challenges and opportunities associated with AI. No registration is required.

Wednesday, Dec. 6, 1-4 p.m. — Day One (hybrid)

This hybrid session will be held in the Hub for Clinical Collaboration, First Floor, Room 1620. Attendees may also join virtually via Teams.

CHOP computer scientists will present their work using AI to solve challenging problems in child health during a panel discussion called Inside the Algorithm: Computer Scientists View of AI Research at CHOP.

Thursday, Dec. 7, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Day Two (in person)

This event will be held in person only in the Hub for Clinical Collaboration, First Floor, Room 1620.

Research scientists in various fields will lead panel discussions on AI research leadership, research challenges, and research opportunities. Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer Susan Furth, MD, PhD, will welcome attendees and provide closing remarks

While topics are research focused, all Principal Investigators, faculty, research scientists, research administration, and research staff are encouraged to attend. This event is part of CHOP Research Institute’s self-assessment of AI research to understand the internal and external AI landscapes.
