The new Center for Outcomes Research in Surgery provides a patient-centered approach to improving outcomes in children with surgical conditions.

The Center for Outcomes REsearch in Surgery seeks to improve patient-centered outcomes of children with surgical conditions by generating new knowledge, applying that knowledge to clinical care, and supporting clinical investigation through clinical trials, comparative effectiveness research, and implementation science.

Dr. Jill Savla is an attending cardiologist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Her research interests include congenital heart disease, early life risk factors for congenital heart surgery, maternal-fetal environment, outcomes research, and clinical epidemiology.
