Start-up meetings

After a study has received both IRB and CHPS approval, investigators are asked to schedule a study start-up meeting with the Nutrition and Growth Lab (NGL) team. Contact Gail Jackson, Lead Tech (215-590-4159, jacksonga@chop.edu) to schedule the start-up meeting and discuss your protocol. We encourage the full study team and NGL team to attend.

Scheduling

Requests for appointments in NGL are made through the EPIC In-Basket system. Once the Nutrition Assessment Core confirms the appointment in EPIC, the visits can be scheduled in OnCore. Study Coordinators are expected escort study subjects to the NGL at the time of the appointment. Saturday appointments are offered on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
