Nishi Srivastava, PhD, is a graduate of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research in India in neurobiology. She moved to UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas after graduation to complete her postdoctoral fellowship in psychiatry and cancer biology.

Dr. Srivastava's research interest is how different compartments and layers of the lungs are affected after infection, especially acute respiratory distress syndrome, cell death pathways, and which areas of the lung are involved after infection.
