Bio
As an integral member of the senior leadership team in partnership with more than 500 principal investigators, Michelle Lewis serves a pivotal role to advance the Research Institute’s strategic vision of conducting world-renowned, biomedical research and translating it into breakthrough pediatric patient care. Lewis engages with leaders and groups across the entire Children's Hospital of Philadelphia enterprise to build efficiency and foster comradery by enhancing communications and relationships that lead to research excellence. The long-term goals and daily operations of Specialized Accounting, Pre-Award (Sponsored Projects), Post-Award and Research Portfolio Management, Veterinary Resources, Research Creative Services, Core Facilities Administration, Non-Traditional Personnel, Research Business Operations, and the Project Management Office are under her leadership at the Research Institute. Together, they fulfill the mission of "One Team. One Vision. One Mission" of the Research Institute on its continuous course toward pediatric research preeminence
