Dr. Won is the Human Factors Program Manager for the Center for Healthcare Quality and Analytics (CHQA), adjunct assistant professor for the Perelman School of Medicine and the School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, and a senior fellow at the Center for Injury Research and Prevention.

Bio

Dr. Won is the Human Factors Program Manager for the Center for Healthcare Quality and Analytics (CHQA), adjunct assistant professor for the Perelman School of Medicine and the School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, and a senior fellow at the Center for Injury Research and Prevention. His previous work contributed to the development of a safe and efficient national airspace system for the Federal Aviation Administration and other government research efforts. His current work spans across a wide variety of initiatives, with the goal of implementing human factors engineering to develop and sustain safe, efficient, and reliable systems for the hospital.

Dr. Won's current research involves the impact of physiological monitoring alarms on patient care, in both the inpatient and home care settings. This research is funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
