Florin Tuluc, MD, PhD, is the director of the Flow Cytometry Core Laboratory at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute, which focuses on offering state-of-the-art flow cytometry and cell sorting services to researchers at CHOP and the University of Pennsylvania.
Bio
Florin Tuluc, MD, PhD, is director of the Flow Cytometry Core at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute. Following completion of his medical and doctoral studies in pharmacology in Iasi, Romania, Dr. Tuluc conducted research on the pharmacology of purinergic receptors, intracellular signaling mechanisms in immune cells, and on developing novel therapies for HIV disease.
Since becoming director in 2010, he has focused on developing a state-of-the-art Flow Cytometry Core Laboratory, which is intensively used by hundreds of researchers at CHOP Research Institute and the University of Pennsylvania.
