Abbie Suberman leads a team that develops and integrates research strategies and priorities into clinical and operational domains. As an integral part of the Strategy department, Abbie reports to Linda Miller, Vice President, Strategy & Business Innovation.

Abbie joined CHOP in 2018 as Senior Manager, Research Strategy, working directly for then Chief Scientific Officer Bryan Wolf, developing and leading strategic projects. She continued this role working with current Chief Scientific Officer Sue Furth and collaborates closely with Sue and her leadership team. The expansion of her responsibilities and role of strategy within the Research Institute reflects the increasing importance of supporting collaborative, cross-cutting strategies in maintaining a competitive advantage. Prior to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Abbie was a strategic planner at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, focused on innovation and new technologies.
