Committees
The CHOP Research Institute maintains independent committees to provide oversight and ensure regulatory compliance related to human subject protections, animal care and use, and the use of bio-hazardous materials.

Bridge Funding Committee
The Bridge Funding Committee (BFC) is responsible for the review and evaluation of applications for the Bridge Funding Program and awarding bridge funding to qualified applicants
Diversity Fellowship Advisory Committee
Diversity Fellowship Advisory Committee supports the continuing development and administration of the Postdoctoral Research Fellowship for Academic Diversity at CHOP.
Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee

Ensures all research and teaching at CHOP involving animals is humane, responsible, and in full compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and Research Institute’s policies, and provides assurance of education and training on animal welfare principles, proper animal care, and ethical responsibilities.
Institutional Biosafety Committee
Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) has the charge of reviewing and approving the biological safety of all CHOP's basic and clinical research activities.
Institutional Intellectual Property Advisory Committee
The Institutional Intellectual Property Advisory Committee is charged with providing guidance to the Office of Technology Transfer.
Research Compliance and Risk Sub-Committee
The Research Compliance and Risk Sub-Committee (RCRS) is a standing sub-committee of the Institutional Risk Committee.
