Mentoree William Han Presents at Fall Research EXPO

William Han presented the poster, "Role of NK Cells in Circadian Regulation of Lung Injury," at the University of Pennsylvania Fall Research Expo 2020. The project explored the effects of circadian rhythm and regulation on pulmonary inflammation related to influenza A in an animal model. Han presented his poster virtually on Sept. 17, 2020.

Shaon Sengupta, MBBS, MPH, served as Han's advisor as part of the Penn Undergraduate Mentoring Program, a 10-week summer experience that helps students better understand the research process, conduct their own research, and develop a relationship with a faculty mentor.
