Building Your Mentoring Network

Expand your network of mentors with help from the Office of Academic Training and Outreach Programs (ATOP).

This workshop is open to research staff and postdoctoral fellows. Lunch will be provided to in-person attendees. Register for the workshop. The event is hybrid and will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams.

Mentoring relationships provide valuable support across career stages. No one mentor can address a mentee’s every need, which necessitates a network of mentors. In this workshop, attendees will:

• Learn about areas of support for different personal and professional needs
• Understand how to reach out to networking contacts and conduct informational interviews
• Identify the specific areas of mentorship support that you need
