The Division of Rehabilitation Medicine at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia holds a recognized position as a leader in innovative and collaborative research aimed at expanding the boundaries of knowledge and providing insights into ultimately enhancing the care and treatment of children with disabilities.

Research in the Division is broad, diverse, and rapidly growing, and includes robust programs on altering the trajectory of motor development in young children with cerebral palsy; early detection of motor control impairment in infants at high risk for cerebral palsy; gait rehab after stroke; sensory perception of children with cerebral palsy by somatosensory evoked potential; cardiac and vestibular rehabilitation; and neuomodulation.
