Register for the PCEN Winter 2023-2024 Grant Writing Workshop

Are you a junior investigator in pediatric nephrology preparing to submit a fellowship or career development grant? Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Pediatric Center of Excellence in Nephrology is launching its first grant writing workshop.

Workshops to prepare for February 2024 (or later) grant deadlines will start at the end of November.

Register by Nov. 13, 2023.

Babette Zemel, PhD, co-leader the Clinical Grant Proposal Success Program at CHOP, is leading the workshops.

Each workshop will consist of four sessions that will provide:

1. An overview of essential elements of F-or K-type/career development grant applications
2. Peer review of specific aims
3. Peer review of the biosketch and training plan
4. Review of the research plan

Four to six participants will be enrolled to provide the strongest level of support to each participant. Please note that we will only be accepting grants proposing clinical or translational research at this time.
