The CHOP Technology Governance Committee, in collaboration with the CHOP Cloud Working Group, has released standards to guide cloud usage. These encompass what is appropriate usage for cloud service providers, technical controls, policy enforcement, and security. These standards are effective immediately and can be found in PolicyManager.

All members of the CHOP Workforce are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these standards if they use, or intend to use, cloud services.

The new standards can be found in PolicyManager and are called:

  • Enterprise Acceptable Use of Public Cloud Providers
  • Enterprise Cloud BAA Technical Controls Standard
  • Enterprise Technical Automated Policy Enforcement Standard
  • Enterprise Cloud Center for Internet Security Standard
  • Enterprise Cloud Security Standard - Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Enterprise Cloud Security Standard - Microsoft Azure
  • Enterprise Cloud Security Standard - Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Please direct any questions or concerns to the CHOP Cloud Working Group through ServiceNow.
