The Research Information Services (RIS) Department consists of several teams providing expert advice alongside innovative and effective technology-based solutions to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Research Institute.
The RIS Department provides CHOP Research faculty and staff with a wide variety of services, including desktop and laptop hardware support, device purchase and disposal, file sharing and share folder support, high speed file transfer, server backup service assistance, database services or data center hosting support, data manipulation services, web presence development, web-based application development, and much more!
RIS Department also provides support for many frequently used applications, including eResearch, LabArchives, CIRRUS, Wiki.CHOP,and Tableau.
CHOP Research Institute employees can view a list of RIS Department services and applications and find instructions for requesting access or support on the main Research Institute website. For services and applications not supported by Research Information Services, employees should visit CHOP Enterprise Information Services or contact the CHOP IS Support Center at ext. 4-HELP (4-4357) or 215-590-4357.
