Intimate Partner Violence

Conducting hospital- and community-based research to reduce exposure to and impact of violence among children and families, and designing innovative, evidence-based programs and initiatives that are implemented across clinical, school, and neighborhood settings.

With her training in public health and epidemiology, Dr. Myers primary research focuses on community violence and trauma recovery support. She also is actively involved in studies addressing child and adolescent passenger safety in motor vehicle crashes
