The researchers are conducting this study to adapt PriCARE for parents and their parenting supports.

Parents who were younger than 21 at the time of the birth of their child, who currently have at least one child between the ages of 2-6, or are a parenting support person of a parent with a child 2-6 years old, are eligible.

You will be asked to participate in a focus group with 1-2 research team members and up to eight other parents and parenting supports. This will be done either via BlueJeans, Teams, or in-person at the Roberts Center for Pediatric Research, for 1-1.5 hours.

You will be asked about your experiences parenting including successes and challenges, and about interests in joining a parenting training program. In the event that you are interested and eligible, but unable to attend a focus group, we can complete an individual interview.

If you are interested and have availability, you will have the option to join a pilot version of the adapted program, which will be 6-8 weeks long, for 1-2 hours a week, either online or in-person.

Individuals in the pilot group will complete an additional focus group about their experiences in the program.

You will be compensated for each focus group you complete.
