Suying Liu leads the research project into the clonal restraints of hematopoiesis in an inherited bone marrow failure syndrome, Fanconi Anemia, to promote better understanding and treatment of pediatric hematological disorders.
Suying Liu is from Southern China and gained her bachelor’s degree at Zhejiang University, where she majored in biological science. She moved to Philadelphia for her PhD study at the University of Pennsylvania in 2017. She joined the Kurre Laboratory in 2020 to study the hematological defects of Fanconi Anemia, an inherited bone marrow failure syndrome.
