Seul Jung is a research technician investigating the effects of extracellular vesicle secretion on fate and function of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells.
Seul Jung received her BS degree in Biology at Temple University in 2019. During her time at Temple, Jung was involved in research focusing on the relationship between invadopodia and cell cycle progression in breast cancer cells. Jung joined the Kurre Laboratory as a research technician in 2019, where she adapted a hematopoietic stem cell expansion protocol working with a murine model and assisted lab members on various projects. Jung is currently working with Stephanie Hurwitz, MD, PhD, a Research and Clinical Hematopathology fellow, to examine the impact of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell-derived extracellular vesicles on the bone marrow microenvironment.
