McCormick graduated in 2025 with a BS in Neuroscience and a minor in Psychology from Temple University. During his undergraduate studies, McCormick worked on several projects involving fMRI imaging and behavioral research, focusing on reward processing, memory, and drug-seeking behaviors. He also led an independent research project examining how neighborhood circumstances and social support influence neural responses to reward anticipation in adolescents.

McCormick's research interests include memory, cognitive control, and how disruptions in neural circuits contribute to psychiatric disorders.

Outside of the lab, he enjoys photography, trying new foods, and traveling.
