Mahalakshmi Somayaji, PhD, is a neurobiologist and a biochemist with more than 10 years of experience in understanding the neural networks (normal and neurological). Her current translational research encompasses a wide range of areas, including clinical trials to advance the evaluation and management of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). In this work, Dr. Somayaji explores the intricate interplay between OSA and its diverse comorbidities to address the fundamental scientific questions that underpin the pathophysiology of this complex disorder.
