Uplifting Athletes is a nonprofit that supports the rare disease community by harnessing the power of sport. By using the platform athletics has in America, Uplifting Athletes is able to offer different programs to future and current rare disease researchers.
During this session, you will hear about the Young Investigator Draft Grants, Researcher Travel Stipend, and how Uplifting Athletes plan to support underrepresented researchers through their health equity commitment. You will also hear from a CHOP researcher who received a Young Investigator Award in 2022.
The 2024 Request for Applications will be available in August 2023.
