Save the Date: Research Safety Day 2024 - Galaxy of Safety

Join the Office of Research Safety (ORS) for Research Safety Day 2024, April 29!

This year's event, Galaxy of Safety, will promote research safety initiatives, highlight fundamental safety practices, and feature a vendor exposition. We will recognize our Safety Stars and ORS Safety Partners. Games, prizes, and giveaways also will be part of the fun and interactive day.

When & Where

When: Monday, April 29, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Leonard and Madlyn Abramson Pediatric Research Center

Registration

Register Required for Lunch: Lunch will be provided; register now.

We will focus on a variety of research safety topics:

  • Biological and chemical safety
  • Lab safety practices
  • Ergonomics
  • Environmentally friendly products
  • Nontoxic chemical alternatives
  • Reduced volume (micro) processes
  • Other related areas.

Vendors must register separately and should contact the Office of Research Safety directly.
