Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Pennsylvania Pediatric Medical Device Consortium (PPDC) is partnering with Penn Health-Tech (PHT) and seeking pediatric medical device development ideas for funding and further development.

The PHT Accelerator is a year-long, cohort-based program that is intended to provide support through advising and funding aimed at accelerating the life cycle of innovative health technologies.

Proposals for the PHT Accelerator Program are due Wednesday, Nov. 8. To apply, register at: https://pennhealthtech.smapply.io/

Interested applicants are encouraged to attend an information session on Oct. 17, 12-1 p.m., to explore the process and resources Penn Health-Tech offers to support innovative technologies, as well as to learn more information on the available funding opportunities. Register to Attend Information Session.

PHT connects innovators across the University of Pennsylvania and CHOP and facilitates innovation in medical devices and healthcare technology. The PPDC is a PHT collaborator, and we are excited to be involved to help advance pediatric medical device development as the lack of pediatric medical devices represents both a major unmet need and a healthcare inequity.

The PPDC encourages all who are interested in pediatric medical devices to apply, inclusive of innovators with diverse backgrounds and expertise. We are happy to advise and facilitate applicants who are developing ideas and concepts for pediatric medical devices.

For more information and assistance, please contact the PPDC Project Manager, Josh Dienstman, dienstmanj@chop.edu.
