Neuromonitoring

The Lynch Lab's primary focus is on the development and use of novel biomedical optical tools to study risk for neurologic injury in children with cardiac diseases.

Dr. Lynch is a physicist specializing in biomedical optics. Her research focuses on the development and use of novel optical imaging devices to improve the way we monitor the brain in vulnerable pediatric patients.

The Kilbaugh Lab focuses on advanced therapies for treating cardiac arrest, traumatic brain injuries, cardiopulmonary bypass, extracorporeal life support, defense against chemical toxins, and therapeutics for mitochondrial disorders that reduce neurological damage.
