Dr. Goldberg studies how genetic variation in ion channels leads to underlying brain circuit dysfunction in epilepsy and other disorders.

The goal of this study is to collect biological samples and medical information from children to create a Neuroscience Biorepository to advance future neurological research.

This study involves the collection of medical information and samples from people with a confirmed or suspected leukodystrophy or related disorder affecting the white matter of the brain, as well as "healthy controls" who are not known to be affected by one of these disorders.

This study is a trial comparing the effects of erenumab to placebo in children ages 6-17 years old with migraine 15 days per month or more.

The Goldberg Lab Investigates mechanisms of cerebral cortical circuit function and circuit dysfunction in neurodevelopmental disorders

Dr. Goldberg's research program focuses on investigating cerebral cortical circuit function and dysfunction in neurodevelopmental disorders. Using a variety of research techniques, Dr. Goldberg has a specific research interest in the workings of neuron subtype called GABAergic inhibitory interneuron and the role of interneuron dysfunction in disease.
