This request allows users to get a new virtual machine. The new virtual machine is created on enterprise class all flash storage. The underlying architecture also provides high availability and disaster recovery functionally to support running application(s) hosted on the virtual machines. This service also provides users with 2 levels of service protection to choose from based on their application needs: Gold and Bronze.

Gold – Local and Remote Access High Availability

  • Recovery Point Objective (RPO) is at the point of failure
  • Recovery Time Objective (RTO) is under 10 minutes.
  • Automated failover to remote site.
  • No manual intervention required
  • Image based nightly backup
  • Advanced Monitoring for Server up/down, CPU, Memory, and Disk Utilization

Bronze – Local High Availability

  • Local High Availability provided through system, out-of-box based replication, or clustering.
  • Recovery Point Objective approximately 24 hours (Backup System Recovery)
  • Recovery Time Objective (RTO) 3-7 days
  • No remote site fail-over available
  • Image based nightly backup
  • Basic monitoring for CPU, Memory, and Disk Utilization
