Postdoctoral Fellow Orientation

The Office of Academic Training and Outreach Programs offers all incoming postdoctoral fellows one-on-one or small group orientations that provide fellows with information and materials pertinent to their training position, including:

• Expectations of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia postdoc fellows
• Services and support for postdoc fellows
• Educational programming
• Information relating to required research training
• Overview of the annual review process and the postdoc evaluation form
• NIH stipend guidelines for postdoctoral fellows
• Enrollment in the UPenn Biomedical Postdoctoral Program

These orientation sessions are scheduled throughout the year and postdocs are invited to join a session soon after they are onboarded at CHOP. If you cannot make your appointed orientation or have questions prior to the session, you may schedule a virtual office hours appointment and select "New Postdoc Support and Resources" through our bookings page.

All upcoming Postdoctoral Fellow Orientations take place from 10:30am-11:30am with in-person and virtual options:
