Subcontracts are issued by the assigned Grants and Contracts Specialist. Reach out to your SPO and RBM to determine what agreement type would be most appropriate. Sub-recipient is defined as a non-federal entity that expends federal/state awards received from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, as a pass-through entity, to carry out a sponsored program but does not include an individual that is a beneficiary of such a program. Contractor is defined as a dealer, distributor, merchant or other seller providing goods or services that are necessary for the conduct of a sponsored program.
