Minors in Labs
Last Updated 1 year 11 months ago
Research laboratories contain a variety of hazards. While individuals who work in these areas are trained to handle these hazards and to deal with accidents that may occur, visitors to the laboratories, and especially minors, may not recognize the significant hazards. The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia seeks to protect the research that is being conducted in its laboratories, as well as to protect its workforce and visitors to its research laboratories.
The Minors in Research Laboratories Policy establishes parameters that allow minors to work in research labs only under the controlled and appropriate circumstances stated in the policy.
For information, please refer to the full Minors in Research Laboratories policy.
