Lab Safety Meetings (LSMs)

Each month the Office of Research Safety (ORS) meets with representatives from the research community to discuss health and safety matters that affect the research laboratory environment. For copies of previous presentations, please contact researchsafety@chop.edu.

Topics include:

• Updates to institutional lab policies
• Use of personal protective equipment
• Current events in biological and chemical safety
• Waste disposal
• Proper chemical storage
• And other fun safety topics!

The ORS also encourages research staff to discuss topics that affect their lab's safety issues. All research staff are encouraged to attend.
