The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute, in conjunction with the Office of Research Safety (ORS) and the Environmental Services (ES) Department, provides a reusable sharps container program for all research laboratories. Containers are picked up twice each week. For additional guidance on infectious waste disposal, please review the Biohazardous Waste Disposal Guide.
