For any services not covered by Research Information Services, the Employee Service Portal is the go-to resource for IS and HR support at the CHOP Research Institute.

How do I use this service?

Visit the Employee Service Portal to log in using your CHOP Active Directory user name and password. There you will have access to the Service Center to provide quick access to the support resources. The portal can help you submit and track IS support requests and provides a large knowledge base and new Chat with a Live Service Desk Agent feature to assist with your requests.

Office 365 Support?

If you are having an issue with Microsoft Office 365, contact the Service Center and talk directly with an Office 365 Support Analyst. For more information go to the Office 365 page or live chat with a service agent.

Need Assistance? Chat with a Live Service Desk Agent

CHOP employees are now able to chat with a live IS Service Center Agent to troubleshoot issues, submit non-urgent tickets, and retrieve status updates and navigate the Service Portal. Live Agents are available to chat on Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM. For more information on live chat, learn how to chat with a live service desk agent .

If you are unable to get the support via the portal, chat, mobile, or knowledge base, the Service Desk Agents are standing by to take your calls directly at ext. 4-HELP (4-4357) internal support or 215-590-4357 external support.

The IS Support Center Service Desk email account is to be used for reporting non-urgent issues only. Please allow up to 24 hours for initial contact on your email. If your issue is urgent, please contact the Service Desk at x4-HELP or 215-590-4357.

PLEASE NOTE: All emails are now automatically converted to tickets. Receiving an email with a ticket number no longer means that the Service Desk is actively working on your issue. Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving a ticket number for initial contact.
