Trainee Travel Award - American Society of Nephrology (ASN) Annual Kidney Week Meeting
American Society of Nephrology (ASN) Kidney Week 2025, the world’s premier nephrology meeting, will be held from November 5-9, 2025 in Houston, TX. For more information about the meeting, visit the ASN website.
Award details
- The CHOP PCEN will reimburse up to $1,000 to support travel/lodging for at least one trainee.
- A CHOP Nephrology faculty member will mentor the trainee during ASN Kidney Week.
- Applicants should be available to attend the entire meeting.
- Applicants to the CHOP PCEN travel award are encouraged to also apply for the ASN's Kidney Students and Residents (STARS) program. This program is designed to help trainees explore the career opportunities available in nephrology. Click here to watch a YouTube video that showcases the program. Accepted Kidney STARS participants will receive travel support, complimentary registration, and special programming including a welcome breakfast, poster tours, a luncheon, networking opportunities, and career guidance panels. Graduate students, medical students, MD-PhD students, and residents are encouraged to apply. Kidney STARS program applications are due by June 18, 2025 at 2:00pm.

- Brief statement (200 words or less) to highlight your most meaningful experiences or accomplishments in nephrology.
- Applications for the CHOP PCEN Trainee Travel Award will be reviewed on a rolling basis, but must be received by Friday, October 3, 2025.
