The Research Resources department of the Research Institute supports the ever-growing research enterprise at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia by developing and supporting its physical infrastructure, including buildings, plants, and built-in capital assets, as well as by providing research space management. The department establishes space requirements for programmatic planning and development and proposes short and long-range organizational goals and objectives to manage growth in the research enterprise.
Research Resources is responsible for coordinating the moves of investigators and their research programs into, out of, and within the research space; analyzing and supporting the research community's needs in regards to security, facilities, information systems and communications services; and maintaining space allocation information while providing utilization analysis for all research space. Additionally, Research Resources coordinates construction and renovation planning throughout the Research Institute community.
