Stephan Kadauke, MD, PhD

Dr. Kadauke is the associate director of the Cell and Gene Therapy Laboratory at CHOP and the medical director of the Cell and Gene Therapy Informatics team. His research focuses on developing novel ways to manufacture cell therapies with the goal of accelerating and broadening patient access to these life-saving therapies.

Dr. Surrey participates in collaborative research within the fields of pediatric pathology and molecular oncology. She has an interest in pediatric solid tumors, particularly sarcomas.

Kristina A. Cole, MD, PhD

Dr. Cole is a pediatric neuro-oncologist who has dedicated her career to translational and clinical research, combining her expertise in molecular pathology, cancer genomics, and developmental therapeutics to identify novel treatments for children with cancer.

Karen B. Zur, MD

Dr. Zur is the director of the Pediatric Voice Program, associate director of the Center for Pediatric Airway Disorders, and interim chief for the Division of Otolaryngology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Her research interests include pediatric laryngotracheal pathology, surgical reconstruction, and voicing issues.

Jarcy Zee, PhD

Dr. Zee's statistical methods research includes topics in survival analysis, measurement error, observational data methods, and machine learning. Her clinical research is focused on kidney disease, specifically in clinical and pathology markers of glomerular and chronic kidney disease progression.

Eduardo Ruchelli, MD

Dr. Ruchelli is an attending pathologist with the Congenital Hyperinsulinism Center and the Division of Anatomic Pathology at CHOP, and an associate professor of pathology and laboratory medicine at the University of Penn. His research focuses on congenital hyperinsulinism and eosinophilic esophagitis.

Kathryn E. Hamilton, PhD

Dr. Hamilton studies intestinal epithelial cells and how they help maintain human health. Although there is a great deal understood about how these cells function, little is known about how they behave during disease. Dr. Hamilton focuses on defining new mechanisms in regenerative medicine, inflammatory bowel disease, and colorectal cancer.

Yi Xing, PhD

Dr. Xing is the Executive Director of the Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics, the Francis West Lewis Chair and director of the Center for Computational and Genomic Medicine at CHOP, and professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on computational biology and genomics of RNA processing and regulation.
