John Herrington is an associate professor of Psychology in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He directs the Emotion and Developmental Laboratory, which focuses on emotion regulation difficulties in childhood, and in particular, among children with autism.

Dr. Jones is a psychological scientist with interests that lie at the intersection of developmental psychology, social psychology, clinical psychology, psychiatry, and pediatrics. His research focuses on the risk, identification, and prevention of adolescent depression and suicide.

Dr. Williamson's research integrates socio-ecological theory, community-engaged methods, and implementation science principles to understand and address child sleep problems and sleep health inequities.

Dr. Leff's background is in child clinical psychology, and he has broad training and expertise in intervention research, mixed methods, and in leading a range of federally funded research initiatives. His research goal is to use community-based participatory research (CBPR) to develop and validate school-based aggression and bullying intervention programs and assessment tools for urban minority youth.

Dr. Juhi Pandey is a pediatric neuropsychologist in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and a scientist in the Center for Autism Research at CHOP. Her research focuses on autism spectrum disorder.

Dr. Zampella’s research focuses on quantifying movement differences in autism and the role of movement in social communication. She is particularly interested in leveraging technology and dyadic paradigms to capture bidirectional interpersonal movement cues as they unfold in natural contexts.

Dr. Hocking’s research aims to better understand the neurodevelopmental consequences of having survived childhood cancer or having neurofibromatosis type 1, to identify those who are most at risk for poor outcomes, and to intervene in some way in order to improve quality of life.

Dr. Paskewich has expertise in translational research to develop, implement, and evaluate school-based aggression and bullying prevention programs. She develops implementation methods that integrate empirically supported prevention strategies with procedures that foster necessary school engagement.

Dr. Gur's combined training in Psychology, Neurology, and Psychiatry enabled her to pursue an academic career working with basic and clinical neuroscientists to advance the understanding mental disorders.

Dr. Miller conducts developmentally informed behavioral research to examine the impact of parent-youth communication and decision making on health-related behaviors and outcomes. She aims to conduct research that facilitates youth involvement and empowerment in health-related decision making and enhances parent-youth-provider relationships.
