Dr. Zorc's work focuses on the intersection of interventional clinical research, quality improvement (QI), and clinical informatics. He has formal certification in epidemiology, QI methodology, and clinical informatics, and has participated in multi-center research networks, guideline and improvement collaboratives, and electronic health record development locally and nationally.

Kevin Downes, MD

The research interests of Dr. Downes focus on antimicrobial clinical pharmacology and pharmacoepidemiology in children with a goal to identify novel approaches to optimize efficacy, minimize toxicity, and limit antimicrobial resistance from antibiotics.

Kevin C. Osterhoudt, MD, MSCE

Dr. Osterhoudt is an attending physician in the Division of Emergency Medicine and the medical director of the Poison Control Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. His interests include the clinical epidemiology and risk assessment of pediatric poisoning exposures, and infantile methemoglobinemia.

Michael A. Levine, MD, FAAP, FACP, MACE

Dr. Levine has an active laboratory research program that complements and extends his clinical studies. He has identified the molecular basis of several inherited disorders of mineral metabolism. His research interests extend to the molecular basis for embryological development of the parathyroid glands.

Whitney Guthrie, PhD

Whitney Guthrie, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and scientist at the Center for Autism Research. Dr. Guthrie’s research focuses on the early developmental trajectories that characterize autism spectrum disorder with the ultimate goal of improving early detection and intervention.

Dr. Zaoutis is a pediatrician trained in infectious disease and epidemiology with a robust research program focused on the epidemiology, prevention, and treatment of healthcare acquired infections; antimicrobial resistance; and antimicrobial use.

Richard Aplenc, MD, PhD, MSCE

Dr. Aplenc investigates ways to improve the outcomes of children with cancer, particularly acute myeloid leukemia, with clinical epidemiology studies and translational research.

Kelly Wade, MD, PhD, MSCE

Dr. Wade is an attending neonatologist at CHOP Newborn Care at Pennsylvania Hospital and CHOP, as well as professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses on clincial care of infants in the NICU.

Joyce Chang, MD

Dr. Chang is a clinical investigator focusing on cardiovascular assessment and outcomes of pediatric-onset systemic lupus erythematosus (pSLE). Her research assesses the utility of various screening modalities, including echocardiography, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and tonometry, for the early detection of cardiovascular disease. Her research goals are to develop screening protocols and targeted interventions to prevent pSLE-related cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.
