Hossain is a second year graduate student in the Microbiology, Virology, and Parasitology program at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and MS in Biology from the University of California San Diego.

Outside of lab, she enjoys fashion, attending concerts, exploring Philadelphia, and cuddling with her cat, Black Bean.
