Diagnosis and evaluation of young children (preschoolers) with (or suspected of) autism spectrum disorder, using standardized methods of evaluation.

Dr. Levy is engaged in a multi-center case control study of young children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay and typical development which examines risk factors for autism and etiologic factors.

Early identification of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) - efficacy of multiple source methods of evaluation, stability of diagnosis. Epidemiology of ASD (risk factors and causes of ASD). Emerging clinical profile of ASD symptoms (and other DD) in young siblings of children with ASD. Use of novel (complementary and alternative medical) treatments for symptoms of ASD.
